About

I’m an experienced web user interface designer that specializes in visual + experience design. XHTML, CSS + Javascript are my tools of choice and I am a huge fan of grid-based design, CSS3 and working with Ruby on Rails.

In addition to over 10 years of freelance design experience, I have worked as an interface designer for a Ruby on Rails design and development firm and a boutique design agency. I also have management experience in the Marketing and IT fields, serving as both Marketing and IT Director of a small private school for over two years.

I have staying interests in history, foreign and indie cinema, football (of both European and American persuasions), hockey, sushi, politics (of the liberal persuasion), beer (Oregon porters and Belgian ales are favorites), fashion, science fiction and Audrey Tautou.
